"We started using massage for our older dogs about eight years ago. When our previous massage therapist retired, we found Patti Fluegel of Mile Hi Canine Massage and are very happy we did. We have two older (10 and 13 years old) energetic German Wirehaired Pointers; both do agility and massage helps get out the kinks and relieve tight muscles. Patti is very gentle but thorough in working out their trigger points. Both dogs love her - they get very pushy competing for who gets the first massage.
